B8M Class II SS 316/316L/316Ti Bright Bar was designed with a combination of high-temperature ductility and outstanding formability for increased consistency and high-temperature longevity. This Bright Bar is perfect for treating hazardous chemicals and working in hazardous conditions. This bar has a high degree of corrosion resistance and strength. The addition of molybdenum to solid solutions increases their ductility while also increasing their strength.

ASTM A193/A193M-11 SS 316/316L/316Ti specifies the mechanical properties of austenitic (among other) stainless steel bolts, screws, and nuts for high temperature or high-pressure operation, as well as other limited use applications.
B8M Class 2 and B8M Class 2B products (both 316 stainless steel, cold drawn to increase tensile properties) are available from Midland Bright Steels, allowing fastener producers and others to deliver products that meet or exceed the specifications of the above standard.
